The YMCA of El Paso Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day event of its kind in the region!
The YMCA of El Paso Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day event of
its kind in the region. In 2011, the Trot had over 1,100 participants
participating in our 5K run, 3K fun run/walk and a 1 mile kid’s run.
Starting from humble beginnings 35 years ago, it has grown into the
undisputed "Way to Begin Thanksgiving Day" for hundreds of local
families as well as those who travel to share in our great event.
The Trot tradition has now extended through generations of
participants who celebrate the holiday with grandparents, relatives,
friends and their youngest who we look to see with their own families in
the years ahead. The YMCA of El Paso supports strong kids, strong
families and strong communities – all of which are represented at the
Trot. Participants are also helping to support important YMCA
programs. We look forward to seeing you feel free to bring a big group)
to this year’s YMCA of El Paso Turkey Trot.
The Turkey Trot
is a YMCA tradition that draws people from all over the country – from
Hawaii to Massachusetts, from Michigan to Mexico. Mark your calendar
now and come join the fun!!!
